Job Summary:
As Event Staff at Pier One Plymouth, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our events run smoothly and our guests have a memorable experience. Your duties will include providing excellent bar service, assisting with table service, and supporting the overall event operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Bar Service:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks.

  • Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.

  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling beverages and equipment.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

Table Service:

  • Set up tables and chairs according to the event plan.

  • Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and efficiently.

  • Clear tables and clean up after events.

  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces.

General Event Support:

  • Assist with the setup and decoration of event venues.

  • Provide support to the event coordinators as needed.

  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the event space.

  • Address any guest inquiries or issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in bar service and table service is preferred.

  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
